A Bhubaneswar IT firm’s owner has Wiegand-card stock from a previous deployment and needs readers that read his existing cards at the doors — and on top of that the firm is starting a UHF-based asset tracking rollout for laptops and lab equipment, which means the admin team also needs a desktop USB UHF RFID card reader at the front office to register new tags into the asset database. The door-side card readers are taken care of by Wiegand units already on order; what the admin team is missing is a desk-side UHF reader that plugs into a Windows machine over USB and lets the office manager enrol a fresh batch of UHF tags onto the asset list before they are stuck onto equipment.
