Power, LAN and USB reliefs sit at the rear, so cabling stays neat behind a wall plate. No improvised cardboard spacers, no foam packed in to stop rattle. The acrylic front sits flush against the device face.

Through power cuts, no missed punches

Inside the metal enclosure, below the device, is a bay sized for a 12V Mini UPS. A hospital can’t accept attendance gaps — payroll for nursing staff is checked daily and a missed punch becomes an HR ticket. With Mini UPS continuity the uFace302 keeps logging through the brief power gaps that even tier-1 hospitals see during DG transfers.

Mounting

Four rear-plate slots take 8mm wall anchors for a brick or concrete wall outside the ward. The base is flat for desk mounting at the nurses’ station if you’d rather keep the terminal at a counter. Cable exit can be routed bottom or back depending on your conduit run.

Will hospital disinfectant damage the powder-coated steel or acrylic front?
The powder-coated steel handles every standard hospital disinfectant. For the acrylic, mild soapy water or a quaternary-ammonium wipe is best — avoid IPA on acrylic; it can haze the surface over time.

Is the ZKTeco uFace302 included?
No — this is the metal enclosure only. The uFace302 and Mini UPS are sold separately.

Does the lock keep ward visitors out of the device?
